When you heard the word "omakase", what comes through your mind? Yes it means we'll let the chef decide the dishes for us. Isn't it intriguing to pay for dishes that you don't even know what is it? Well, don't worry. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the omakase experience because it's super worth it! I have researched about omakase restaurants across Jakarta and decided to try YAWARA OMAKASE for my first omakase experience.
WHY I CHOOSE YAWARA? First, I have tried their yawara grill/yakiniku and pretty impressed with the meat quality. Second, their price is not that expensive compared to other omakase restaurants. With only 1.950.000 you get 20 course, I think it's a fair price. They also have 10, 15, and 18 course omakase. So you could pick the amount of course that suits you. Make sure to book first because the restaurant space is not big, there's only few dining tables and private rooms. Their location is strategically located at Sequis Tower near the hype Ashta Mall and Pacific Place. It is easy to find and the security is tight because of this pandemic(which I like because some place don't really follow the health protocols), we need to check in and check out using the peduli lindungi app.
20 course:

Kanpai merupakan sister nya Sushi Hiro, karena pemiliknya sama(from what I've heard). WOW. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIZ. To be honest, me and my friend emosian banget antara dia gak ngerti kita ngomong apa atau dia bener-bener trainee baru jadi gak tau kalau boleh foto-foto etc. Akhirnya kami meninggalkan nomor telfon, but. oh God. And you know what? CMIIW but their service sucks. Anyway, we finally got a table for two and we ordered two main dishes; Roasted Beef Yuzu Truffle Donburi and Thunder Tori Ramen. Kalau Roasted Beef Yuzu Truffle Donburi aku deman banget! Rasanya enak, dagingnya wajib pesan medium atau medium well biar dagingnya juicy dan empuk. Love banget dish ini, tapi rasa yuzu nya kurang berasa which I think is a plus karena aku tidak mau daging aku berasa asem. Untuk trufflenya kecium sih cuman kurang banyak kalau menurut aku, but the truffle and onsen egg blended so well. Ini literally the best roasted beef donburi I ever had! For the drinks we ordered Ocha and Lychee Ice Tea, we picked these two because nothing will ever go wrong with Ocha and Lychee Ice Tea. Setelah kita makan, kita foto-foto with the instagrammable stairs that looks like Fushimi Inari yang kata mbaknya tadi kita juga gaboleh foto disana. Kita foto-foto tanpa diganggu dan diusir, which is confusing because sebelumnya kata pegawai depan tidak boleh foto di tangga. Jadi sebenernya sampai sekarang aku masih bingung ini penjelasannya gimana. I put this on my instastories, and you know what they replied? They only reply with "Thanks for your information" really? is this how you handle complaints? not evena single sorry? I was so disappointed with Kanpai. So sad about their customer service, probably will not come back.

Hi guys I'm back reviewing restaurants and cafes. Yes I know I'm a fashion blogger but I also want to review good food around Jakarta. Today I went to Klaud's Singapore Soya Delight at Puri Indah Mall. They also have a branch at Kuningan, I think. My friend told me about this new place at Puri Mall so I decided to go and try. The location is near Sharetea and Hero. Definitely not a strategic place its almost at the corner of the mall. But they have cute design and colorful place so it will be eye-catching to those who passes by. Klaud's is basically clouds in english. Have you ever wondered what clouds taste like? Klaud’s soya is a chilled-soya beancurd with hand-picked ingredients directly imported from Singapore.
You can smell the goodness of soya by the time the lid is opened, and on your first sip, the soft and smooth texture of Klaud’s soya will melt in your mouth leaving a sweet, light soya after-taste. Wondering what can describe these feelings? It is cloud-like! I ordered Original Soya Beancurd also known as Kembang Tahu in Indonesian. At first I wanted to try their green tea. But they said theres only Original and Mango taste at the moment. At first it looks a bit watery but after I started eating it it doesn't look watery at all. I think its supposed to look a bit watery? And the texture is soft delicate like a fragile pudding.

Liberté is a relaxed French brasserie located at the second floor of Galeries Lafayette in Pacific Place Mall. Liberte offers different variety of French food. The dining area is divided into two. One with the sofa and round table, and the other one near the window where you can see Jakarta's view from the window.

Nymph of The Nile tea Rp. 28.000

Escargot Vol-Au-Vent Rp. 55.000

Pan Seared Barramundi Rp. 85.000

Profiteroles Rp. 65.000

SEORAE is a new Korean restaurant at Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta. It is located near Hong Tang. I went here two times already and did a little chitchat with the manager as well as one of the employees. So apparently, the owners of this restaurant are 3 to 4 Korean people which is good since they will bring us the real taste of korean food. I ordered 2 Samgyeobsal(Rp.69800 each), Bab(Rp9800), Spicy Galmaegisal(Rp.89800), Galmaegisal(Rp.84800), Woosamgyeob(Rp.139800), Dolsot Bibimbab(Rp.69800) and for the drink, cold ocha(Rp.8800) of course ;). The meat portions are small but the it tastes great. The Dolsot Bibimbab was made perfectly too. The minus parts are its so hot inside the restaurant, crowded and tiny place, and lastly, there are only few employees! One of the employees said that many took the job and quit because of the overcrowd. Its too much for them, I guess. I feel sad for the employees since they're all like running here and there, and multitasking. Since its a new restaurant, they still don't have plastic bags for the takeaways. I decided to take away some of the food since I was too full and you know what? They don't have any plastic bags for the meat and sauce. Well, they have a plastic container for the meat but not for the sauce. So, the sauce were put inside an empty aqua bottle. lol. I think I can tolerate this though, since they're still new. But I hope when I visit SEORAE next time, they'd have their own plastic bags :)
