SEORAE is a new Korean restaurant at Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta. It is located near Hong Tang. I went here two times already and did a little chitchat with the manager as well as one of the employees. So apparently, the owners of this restaurant are 3 to 4 Korean people which is good since they will bring us the real taste of korean food. I ordered 2 Samgyeobsal(Rp.69800 each), Bab(Rp9800), Spicy Galmaegisal(Rp.89800), Galmaegisal(Rp.84800), Woosamgyeob(Rp.139800), Dolsot Bibimbab(Rp.69800) and for the drink, cold ocha(Rp.8800) of course ;). The meat portions are small but the it tastes great. The Dolsot Bibimbab was made perfectly too. The minus parts are its so hot inside the restaurant, crowded and tiny place, and lastly, there are only few employees! One of the employees said that many took the job and quit because of the overcrowd. Its too much for them, I guess. I feel sad for the employees since they're all like running here and there, and multitasking. Since its a new restaurant, they still don't have plastic bags for the takeaways. I decided to take away some of the food since I was too full and you know what? They don't have any plastic bags for the meat and sauce. Well, they have a plastic container for the meat but not for the sauce. So, the sauce were put inside an empty aqua bottle. lol. I think I can tolerate this though, since they're still new. But I hope when I visit SEORAE next time, they'd have their own plastic bags :)

 Hi guys, I'm back with a new restaurant review! This time its gonna be the new Korean Restaurant "School Food" which is located at Central Park Mall just below Blitzmegaplex. I really love how strategic their location is; School Food is just beside the escalator that leads to blitzmegaplex. It is so easy to spot the restaurant thus attract more customers since a lot of people will see the restaurant whenever they go to blitzmegaplex. Moreover, I was so surprised when I entered the restaurant. It was surprisingly spacey inside(from the outside it doesn't look that spacey)! My lunch there was accompanied by some Korean songs which most of it I didn't know. I have always have a heart in Korean food since I've traveled to Korea a few times and tried many of Korean Restaurants in Jakarta. So, I was really excited to try this new restaurant.

Original Toppoki Rp. 55.000

It has been so long since the last time I ate Toppoki. Actually, the correct word is Tteokbokki. I have no idea why they put Toppoki instead of the original word. This little thing spoiled my excitement a bit, though. I used to eat Tteokbokki at my school canteen before I graduate. The ahjumma is so kind and I always buy most of my lunch food from the korean stall. Ah, so nostalgic. Anyway, I dislike the Original Toppoki. Why? Because it's hard to chew and a bit tasteless. I feel like I'm eating a rubber. But, the fish cakes safed the dish! I'm a fan of fish cake and their fish cakes are delicious. I ate the fish cakes more than the Toppoki, I swear.

All I can say about this Toppoki are that it tasted better than the Original Toppoki and a bit overprice. The Toppoki was cooked perfectly and more easier to chew unlike the Original Toppoki. Nonetheless, for me the grilled chicken tastes the best!

Special Mari 2 Rp. 99.000

I ordered Special Mari 2 set which suits well for two or three people. It has three different sushi; i think there were bulgogi, tuna and...forgot the other one(pardon my short-term-memory). First time when I ordered Special Mari 2, the appearance was bad. I mean, take a look at the first Special Mari 2 picture above, the end looks broken. But the second time I visited School Food and ordered the same dish again, they have managed to fix it as you can see from the second picture, thus leaves a good impression on me.

Beef Butter Bibimbab Rp. 75.000

My brother ordered this dish which tasted quite okay for me but for my brother it was delicious. It was a grilled butter bibimbap with beef, egg and jjangachi. The taste was too much for me to handle. I didn't like the jjangachi either.

Fine Blue Athie Rp. 30.000

I ordered Fine Blue Athie for my drink. It was extremely refreshing! Love love love! Love the taste and the sea blue color. The pineapple's sweetness and blue Curacao's orange flavor thrilled my mouth. Those who like soda definitely must try!

Cotton Strawberry Athie Rp. 30.000

My friend ordered the Cotton Strawberry Athie which is full of strawberry's sweetness and soda water. This tastes good too, like my Fine Blue Athie. The second time when I visited School Food with my family, my mom and brother ordered Lychee Tea Rp. 25.000 and Peach Tea Rp. 25.000 which taste normal and standard. I'm sorry due to my battery dying there were no picture for the drinks during my second visit.

The newest rooftop restaurant by Ismaya Group. It's in the 56th floor of Menara BCA. The food was okay. Love the scenery though.

It's a Japanese restaurant located in Mulia Hotel. Very nice place. Good food. The sushi, teppanyaki, and tempura are so yummy!

6. Lucy In The Sky
Located in Fairground, rooftop garden concept. Bad service. When I came there's only like 3-4 employees and so hard to call them. The food took so long too. But I like the fact that some of the ingredients for some food are self-grown.

7. Otel Lobby
Located near to Epicentrum Mall, a hotel's lobby concept. When I first entered the restaurant it really looked like a hotel's lobby. Love the atmosphere, warm lightning and the decor! The food was superbly delicious too, although a bit pricey. The steak was delicious although the portion is so small. The appetizers were great too! Ordered Braised Wagyu Shank(145), Beef Wellington(145), Rib eye(175), Organic Beef Tenderloin(145), Otel Fries with 3 dipping sauce(35), Wagyu cheese burger roll(45), Toblerone puff(35), Chocolate Souffle(35), Chamomile Tea(20), and Lemon Honey Ginger(20).

Went here on my birthday. Love the place, the food was great. Tried few dishes. Didn't like the food that I ordered but love the food that my friends ordered. We ordered Chicken Wellington(75), British Beef Curry(75), Tenderloin Steak(285), Sakura Sakura Tea(25), Earl Grey Tea(25), Classic creme brûlée(40), Fruit Tart(25).

10. Bluegrass
Located near Otel Lobby(Epicentrum). Delicious food, love the decor! The walls are made from rocks, the lights are not light(dark) gives us a warm feeling. Went here with my family and we ordered Caesar Salad(70), Baby back ribs original(195), Grilled Sirloin(195), Big daddy(500), Baby back ribs bbq(195), Lychee Ice Tea(25), The haka(40), Bluegrass sunrise(40), Bluegrass lychee bread pudding(60), and Devil's food cake(55).

22. Seoul Korean Restaurant

Located at Emporium Mall near Kopitiam. Serves korean food. The food was okay. I ordered kimchi jjigae, 2 bulgogi, samgyeopsal, ox tongue, and bibimbap. The samgyeopsal was bad. I've always love samgyeopsal, but the one in this restaurant: DISLIKE! I don't know why but it tastes different, unlike any other samgyeopsal.

Located in Bandung. Went here with my family. The place is cute, love the design. As the name says, the design is mostly hummingbird. The food was okay. Love the red velvet but not the rainbow cake. For me it's just too much.

Located in Borobudur Hotel. Went here for a few times. And yes, for my friend's birthday party. Since I'm not really a fan of Indonesian food, I only ate a small portion of food.  They also have little variety of food.

35. City Seoul
Located near Gahyo. My family was bored with Gahyo so we tried going to City Seoul which is close to Gahyo. The place is quiet and delicious food. But still, for me Gahyo is still my favorite.
